Carnelian Bay is a community on the north shore of Lake Tahoe, between Tahoe Vista and Tahoe City. It offers beautiful lakefront and lake-view properties in pine forested neighborhoods. The semi-precious red and yellow stones along the shoreline Classic were the inspiration for the name of the area back in 1860.
